In Friday's league contest, the visiting New Richmond Tigers basketball team scored a big 74-46 triumph over the Chippewa Falls Cardinals.

The Tigers (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hudson (Hudson, WI). The Raiders go into the Big Rivers contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Hudson was trounced by Marshfield (Marshfield, WI), 66-49, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Menomonie Mustangs (Menomonie, WI) in a Big Rivers contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Chippewa Falls will attempt to better on its 0-12 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 5-7 record after their 70-47 league loss to Eau Claire Memorial (Eau Claire, WI).
