In Friday's league contest, the visiting Cigarroa Toros basketball team scored a good 81-65 triumph over the Juarez-Lincoln Huskies.

The Toros (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Mustangs go into the 5A Region IV District 30 contest with a 21-9 record.

In their next game, the Huskies confront the Rio Grande City Rattlers (Rio Grande City, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 30 contest, on Wednesday, January 22. Juarez-Lincoln will attempt to better on its 1-20 season record. The Rattlers go into the contest with a 20-10 record after their 69-43 league win over Mission Veterans Memorial (Mission, TX).
