Mississippi High School Basketball - Collins routs North Forrest

In Friday's league contest, the host Collins Tigers basketball team scored a big 59-28 triumph over the North Forrest Eagles.

The Tigers (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Richton (Richton, MS). The Rebels go into the 2A Region 8 contest with a 17-7 record. In their last contest, Richton smashed Heidelberg (Heidelberg, MS), 54-49, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Sumrall Bobcats (Sumrall, MS) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 20. North Forrest will attempt to better on its 3-11 season record. The Bobcats go into the contest with a 7-16 record after their 50-37 league loss to Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, MS).
