In Friday's league contest, the visiting Copiah Academy Colonels basketball team scored a big 84-60 triumph over the St. Aloysius Flashes.
The Colonels (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Adams County Christian (Natchez, MS). The Rebels go into the MAIS 5A District 4 contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Adams County Christian smashed Tensas Academy (St. Joseph, LA), 90-52, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Flashes confront the Copiah Academy Colonels (Gallman, MS) in a MAIS 5A District 4 contest, on Tuesday, January 28. St. Aloysius will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record.
