Virginia High School Basketball - Twin Valley overwhelms Council

The Twin Valley Panthers basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Council Cobras to 26 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now possess a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Grundy for a Black Diamond game on Tuesday, January 21. Twin Valley will confront a Golden Wave team coming off a 58-42 league win over Hurley (Hurley, VA). The Golden Wave record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Council falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Cobras host East Ridge (Lick Creek, KY) to confront the Warriors in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 22. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 6-7.
