The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Covington Chargers (Covington, TN) and the visiting Craigmont Chiefs (Memphis, TN), observed Covington's basketball team overwhelm Craigmont by a score of 85-50.

The Chargers (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Humboldt (Humboldt, TN). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 14-5 record. In their last challenge, Humboldt trounced Bradford (Bradford, TN), 72-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Chiefs encounter the Raleigh-Egypt Pharaohs (Memphis, TN) in a 3A District 15 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Craigmont will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Pharaohs come into the challenge with a 3-14 record after their 57-52 non-league loss to Marked Tree (Marked Tree, AR).
