In Friday's league contest, the visiting Woodstock Wolverines basketball team scored a close 62-55 triumph over the Creekview Grizzlies.

The Wolverines (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA). The Raiders go into the AAAAA Region 6 contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Riverwood was tipped by Sequoyah (Canton, GA), 62-60, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Grizzlies confront the Etowah Eagles (Woodstock, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Creekview will attempt to advance on its 7-12 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 13-4 record after their 81-77 league loss to Wheeler (Marietta, GA).
