Next, the Knights encounter the Henderson Lions (Henderson, TX) in a 4A Region II District 16 test, on Tuesday, January 21. Cumberland Academy will attempt to improve on its 8-15 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 4-18 record after their 75-33 league loss to Pine Tree (Longview, TX).

The Panthers (10-17) will now prepare for their test against Kilgore (Kilgore, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 4A Region II District 16 test with a 6-12 record. In their last test, Kilgore was nipped by Gilmer (Gilmer, TX), 52-49, in a league test.
