Georgia High School Basketball - Model nips Darlington

In Friday's league contest, the host Model Blue Devils basketball team scored a close 53-51 win over the Darlington Tigers.

The Blue Devils (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Trion (Trion, GA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Trion edged Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA), 62-59, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Darlington will attempt to better on its 14-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 8-8 record after their 63-61 league win over Mount Paran Christian (Kennesaw, GA).
