In Friday's league contest, the visiting Davenport Broncos basketball team scored a close 70-67 win over the Ridge Community Bolts.
The Broncos (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against University Christian (Jacksonville, FL). The Christians come into the non-league contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, University Christian edged North Florida Educational Institute (Jacksonville, FL), 67-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bolts battle the Riverview Sarasota Rams (Sarasota, FL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Ridge Community will attempt to better on its 9-8 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 9-9 record after their 71-63 non-league win over Booker (Sarasota, FL).
