The Gallia Academy Blue Devils (Gallipolis, OH) basketball edged the visiting Dawson-Bryant Hornets (Coal Grove, OH), 55-51 in Friday's league bout.
The Blue Devils now possess a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Athens for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. Gallia Academy will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 63-48 league win over Alexander (Albany, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-5.
