Washington High School Basketball - Pomeroy crushes Dayton

The Pomeroy Pirates (Pomeroy, WA) basketball crushed the visiting Dayton Bulldogs (Dayton, WA), 50-11 in Friday's league bout.

The Pirates now possess a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Garfield-Palouse for a 1B Southeast bout on Saturday, January 18. Pomeroy will play a Vikings team coming off a 60-57 non-league loss to Liberty Christian (Richland, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Dayton falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Oakesdale (Oakesdale, WA) to play the Nighthawks in a 1B Southeast bout on Saturday, January 18. The Nighthawks go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Oakesdale won 61-48 in their recent non-league bout against Cusick (Cusick, WA)
