The Rosepine Eagles defeated the host DeQuincy Tigers basketball squad by a final score of 93-74 in Friday's league outing.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Westlake Rams (Westlake, LA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 21. Rosepine will attempt to upgrade on its 18-3 season record. The Rams come into the outing with a 11-5 record after their 55-48 non-league win over Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA).
The Tigers (8-6) will now prepare for their outing against Pickering (Leesville, LA). The Red Devils come into the 2A District 4 outing with a 9-11 record. In their last outing, Pickering was dropped by East Beauregard (DeRidder, LA), 63-51, in a league match.
