In Friday's league contest, the host Don Lugo Conquistadores basketball team scored a close 45-39 triumph over the Diamond Ranch Panthers.

The Conquistadores (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Chaffey (Ontario, CA). The Tigers go into the Mt. Baldy contest with a 16-6 record. In their last contest, Chaffey nipped Ontario (Ontario, CA), 52-37, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Montclair Cavaliers (Montclair, CA) in a Mt. Baldy contest, on Wednesday, January 22. Diamond Ranch will attempt to better on its 12-10 season record. The Cavaliers go into the contest with a 5-17 record after their 92-65 league loss to Chino (Chino, CA).
