Illinois High School Basketball - Downers Grove North knocks off Lyons

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Downers Grove North Trojans basketball team scored a good 44-25 win over the Lyons Lions.
The Trojans (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Rockford East (Rockford, IL). The E-Rabs come into the non-league contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Rockford East defeated Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL), 71-51, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Lyons will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 12-7 record after their 59-58 league win over Glenbard East (Lombard, IL).
