The South Spartans basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting El Segundo Eagles to 61 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now possess a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West for a Pioneer match on Tuesday, January 21. South will face a Warriors squad coming off a 74-54 non-league win over Ocean View (Huntington Beach, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 14-10.
The Eagles now sport a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Torrance for a Pioneer match on Tuesday, January 21. El Segundo will face a Tartars squad coming off a 68-63 league loss to North (Torrance, CA). The Tartars record now stands at 17-5.
