In Friday's non-league contest, the host Warren Easton Fighting Eagles basketball team scored a big 66-32 win over the Eleanor McMain Mustangs.
The Fighting Eagles (16-16) will now prepare for their contest against Frederick A. Douglass (New Orleans, LA). The Bobcats come into the non-league contest with a 17-5 record. In their last contest, Frederick A. Douglass was trounced by St. Augustine (New Orleans, LA), 50-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Scotlandville Hornets (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 20. Eleanor McMain will attempt to better on its 5-22 season record. The Hornets come into the contest with a 14-5 record after their 56-52 non-league win over Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA).
