Oregon High School Basketball - Wallowa thwarts Elgin

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Wallowa Cougars (Wallowa, OR) and the host Elgin Huskies (Elgin, OR), observed Wallowa's basketball team knock off Elgin by a score of 51-43.
The Cougars (4-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Union (Union, OR). The Bobcats come into the 1A Old Oregon challenge with a 13-5 record. In their last challenge, Union prevailed over Powder Valley (North Powder, OR), 54-37, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Huskies encounter the Powder Valley Badgers (North Powder, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Elgin will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record.
