In Friday's league contest, the visiting San Lorenzo Grizzlies basketball team scored a close 61-58 triumph over the Encinal Jets.
The Grizzlies (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA). The Spartans go into the non-league contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Pinole Valley was tipped by Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA), 66-33, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Jets battle the Castlemont Knights (Oakland, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 20. Encinal will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 0-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to McClymonds (Oakland, CA).
