In Friday's league contest, the visiting Episcopal School of Dallas Eagles basketball team scored a close 50-48 win over the St. Andrew's Highlanders.

The Eagles (11-13) will now prepare for their contest against St. Stephen's Episcopal (Austin, TX). The Spartans come into the Southwest Prep - North contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, St. Stephen's Episcopal edged Lago Vista (Lago Vista, TX), 56-54, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Highlanders battle the Cistercian Hawks (Irving, TX) in a Southwest Prep - North contest, on Saturday, January 18. St. Andrew's will attempt to better on its 12-5 season record. The Hawks come into the contest with a 7-10 record after their 83-51 league loss to St. Mark's (Dallas, TX).
