The Eula Pirates (Clyde, TX) basketball crushed the host Strawn Greyhounds (Strawn, TX), 54-24 in Friday's league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Baird for a 1A Region II District 13 bout on Tuesday, January 21. Eula will play a Bears team coming off a 64-3 league win over Moran (Moran, TX). The Bears record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, Strawn falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Ranger (Ranger, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A Region II District 13 bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-13.
