The Eureka Loggers basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Fortuna Huskies to 57 in the Loggers league triumph on Friday.

The Loggers now have a 14-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ukiah for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Eureka will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 53-51 league win over St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-14.

With the loss, Fortuna falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Huskies host Del Norte (Crescent City, CA) to confront the Warriors in a Humboldt-Del Norte - Big 5 game on Wednesday, January 22. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 12-8. Del Norte lost 55-52 in their recent non-league game against St. Bernard's (Eureka, CA)
