The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Evangelical Christian Eagles (Cordova, TN) and the visiting Lausanne Collegiate Lynx (Memphis, TN), observed Evangelical Christian's basketball team overcome Lausanne Collegiate by a margin of 49-36.

The Eagles (4-11) will now prepare for their challenge against St. George's (Collierville, TN). The Gryphons come into the Division II-A West District 6 challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, St. George's dropped by Harding Academy (Memphis, TN), 67-52, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lynx battle the Northpoint Christian Trojans (Southaven, MS) in a Division II-A West District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Lausanne Collegiate will attempt to better on its 8-11 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 61-41 league loss to St. George's (Collierville, TN).
