North Carolina High School Basketball - Faith Christian can't hold off Halifax Academy

The Halifax Academy Vikings tipped the visiting Faith Christian Patriots basketball team by a margin of 61-57 in Friday's league contest.
The Vikings (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Fayetteville Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Eagles come into the NCISAA Carolina Independent contest with a 17-7 record. In their last contest, Fayetteville Academy edged Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC), 71-59, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans (Henderson, NC) in a NCISAA Carolina Independent contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Faith Christian will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 2-15 record after their 90-29 league loss to Fayetteville Academy (Fayetteville, NC).
