Texas High School Basketball - Olton thwarts Farwell

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Olton Mustangs (Olton, TX) and the host Farwell Steers (Farwell, TX), observed Olton's basketball team knock off Farwell by a score of 68-59.

The Mustangs (18-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bovina (Bovina, TX). The Mustangs come into the 2A Region I District 3 challenge with a 3-10 record.

In their next game, the Steers encounter the Hale Center Owls (Hale Center, TX) in a 2A Region I District 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 21. Farwell will attempt to move on its 19-5 season record.
