The Fitzgerald Spartans basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans to 31 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Romeo for a Macomb Area - White game on Tuesday, January 21. Fitzgerald will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-52 non-league win over L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, Sterling Heights Stevenson falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Utica (Utica, MI) to play the Chieftains in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Chieftains go into the game with a record of 3-9. Utica lost 49-42 in their recent league game against Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI)
