The Franklin Parish Patriots basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting West Ouachita Chiefs to 31 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now have a 15-11 record. They play next when they travel to Peabody for a 4A District 2 game on Friday, January 24.

With the loss, West Ouachita falls to 17-9 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Loyola College Prep (Shreveport, LA) to confront the Flyers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Flyers go into the game with a record of 8-15. Loyola College Prep lost 64-35 in their recent non-league game against Green Oaks (Shreveport, LA)
