The Friends Academy Quakers were victorious over the visiting Malverne Mules basketball squad by a final score of 65-56 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Quakers face the Garden City Trojans (Garden City, NY) in a non-league outing, on Sunday, January 19. Friends Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record.

The Mules (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Lawrence (Cedarhurst, NY). The Golden Tornadoes enter the Section 8 VIII outing with a 0-9 record.
