Tennessee High School Basketball - Gibson County defeats Westview

The Gibson County Pioneers (Dyer, TN) basketball were winner over the host Westview Chargers (Martin, TN), 77-58 in Friday's league bout.

The Pioneers now possess a 9-9 record. They play next when they host South Gibson for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. Gibson County will play a Hornets team coming off a 82-63 league win over Dyer County (Newbern, TN). The Hornets record now stands at 12-9.

With the loss, Westview falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Chargers host Peabody (Trenton, TN) to play the Golden Tide in a 2A District 14 bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Golden Tide go into the bout with a record of 15-3.
