Ohio High School Basketball - McKinley holds off Girard

The McKinley Red Dragons basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Girard Indians to 42 in the Red Dragons league triumph on Friday.

The Red Dragons now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Lakeview for a Northeast 8 game on Tuesday, January 21. McKinley will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 55-44 league win over Hubbard (Hubbard, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Girard falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Indians travel to South Range (Canfield, OH) to confront the Raiders in a Northeast 8 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 10-2. South Range won 72-52 in their recent non-league game against Columbiana (Columbiana, OH)
