The Leander Lions basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Hays Hawks to 22 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

With the loss, Hays falls to 11-16 on the campaign. The Hawks host Rouse (Leander, TX) to confront the Raiders in a 5A Region IV District 25 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 18-9. Rouse lost 66-60 in their recent league game against Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX)
