Texas High School Basketball - Marcus holds off Hebron

In Friday's league contest, the host Marcus Marauders basketball team scored a close 61-57 triumph over the Hebron Hawks.
The Marauders (19-7) will now prepare for their contest against Braswell (Little Elm, TX). The Bengals go into the 6A Region I District 5 contest with a 19-9 record. In their last contest, Braswell nipped Lewisville (Lewisville, TX), 73-67, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Hawks confront the Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) in a 6A Region I District 5 contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Hebron will attempt to better on its 15-10 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 22-6 record after their 56-44 league win over Coppell (Coppell, TX).
