North Carolina High School Basketball - Henderson Collegiate bests Oxford Prep

The Henderson Collegiate Pride basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Oxford Prep Griffins to 45 in the Pride league triumph on Friday.

The Pride now possess a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Roxboro Community for a 1A Triangle North game on Tuesday, January 21. Henderson Collegiate will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 76-24 non-league loss to J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Oxford Prep falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Franklinton (Franklinton, NC) to play the Red Rams in a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. The Red Rams go into the game with a record of 6-8. Franklinton lost 73-64 in their recent non-league game against Wakefield (Raleigh, NC)
