The Pine Tree Pirates basketball team scored 75 points and limited the host Henderson Lions to 33 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now have a 14-10 record. They play next when they host Chapel Hill for a 4A Region II District 16 game on Tuesday, January 21. Pine Tree will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 87-34 league win over Carthage (Carthage, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 22-5.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Cumberland Academy Knights (Tyler, TX) in a 4A Region II District 16 contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Henderson will attempt to better on its 4-18 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 8-15 record after their 53-50 league win over Spring Hill (Longview, TX).
