In Friday's league contest, the visiting Highland Springs Springers basketball team scored a close 77-73 win over the Henrico Warriors.
The Springers (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA). The Hawks come into the Capital contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Hanover edged Thomas Dale (Chester, VA), 61-58, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Atlee Raiders (Mechanicsville, VA) in a Capital contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Henrico will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Raiders come into the contest with a 10-1 record after their 59-44 league win over Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA).
