Mechanicsburg Wildcats (Mechanicsburg, PA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Hershey Trojans (Hershey, PA), 67-59 in a league match.

With the victory, Mechanicsburg advances its record to 9-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Northern York (Dillsburg, PA) to face the Polar Bears in a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. The Polar Bears enter the match with a record of 4-2.

The Trojans now own a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lebanon for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. Hershey will face a Cedars squad coming off a 63-51 non-league loss to Penn Manor (Millersville, PA). The Cedars record now stands at 7-10.
