The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Hickory Christian Academy Knights (Hickory, NC) and the visiting University Christian Barracudas (Hickory, NC), observed Hickory Christian Academy's basketball team overwhelm University Christian by a score of 60-33.

The Knights (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Tabernacle Christian (Hickory, NC). The Conquerors come into the non-league challenge with a 0-11 record. In their last challenge, Tabernacle Christian was routed by Union Grove Christian (Lexington, NC), 64-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Barracudas encounter the Statesville Christian Lions (Statesville, NC) in a NCISAA Foothills challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. University Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 71-23 league win over Salem Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC).
