North Carolina High School Basketball - High Point Central overwhelms Southern Guilford

January 17, 2025: Greensboro, NC 27406

The High Point Central Bison basketball team scored 72 points and limited the host Southern Guilford Storm to 50 in the Bison league triumph on Friday.

The Bison now have a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to Dudley for a 3A Mid-State game on Friday, January 24. High Point Central will confront a Panthers team coming off a 68-66 non-league loss to Salisbury (Salisbury, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Southern Guilford falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Storm host Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC) to confront the Cougars in a 3A Mid-State game on Friday, January 24. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 8-5.
