The Highland Park Scots basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Lone Star Rangers to 54 in the Scots league triumph on Friday.

The Scots now possess a 18-4 record. They play next when they travel to Turner for a 5A Region II District 12 game on Tuesday, January 21. Highland Park will play a Lions team coming off a 73-46 league loss to Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX). The Lions record now stands at 12-10.

With the loss, Lone Star falls to 17-10 on the campaign. The Rangers host Creekview (Carrollton, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 5A Region II District 12 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 8-17. Creekview lost 71-66 in their recent league game against Reedy (Frisco, TX)
