Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Thomas Academy routs Hill-Murray

In Friday's non-league contest, the host St. Thomas Academy Cadets basketball team scored a big 55-28 triumph over the Hill-Murray Pioneers.
The Cadets (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN). The Spartans go into the AAA Section 3 contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Simley was trounced by Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN), 62-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Pioneers battle the Mahtomedi Zephyrs (Mahtomedi, MN) in a AAA Section 4 contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Hill-Murray will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Zephyrs go into the contest with a 8-7 record after their 66-56 non-league win over Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN).
