The Holston Cavaliers (Damascus, VA) basketball edged the host Northwood Panthers (Saltville, VA), 46-41 in Friday's league bout.
The Cavaliers now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Rye Cove for a non-league bout on Monday, January 20. Holston will play a Eagles team coming off a 74-32 non-league loss to Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-7.
