The Hot Springs County Bobcats (Thermopolis, WY) basketball crushed the host Wind River Cougars (Pavillion, WY), 79-28 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Bobcats now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Glenrock for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. Hot Springs County will play a Herders team coming off a 51-44 league loss to Torrington (Torrington, WY). The Herders record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Wind River falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Cougars host Kemmerer (Kemmerer, WY) to play the Rangers in a 2A Southwest bout on Friday, January 24. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Kemmerer lost 55-52 in their recent non-league bout against Manila (Manila, UT)
