In Friday's league contest, the visiting Huntsville Panthers basketball team scored a good 60-40 triumph over the Sparkman Senators.
The Panthers (23-1) will now prepare for their contest against Oxford (Oxford, AL). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league contest with a 17-5 record. In their last contest, Oxford topped Jasper (Jasper, AL), 66-57, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Senators confront the Buckhorn Bucks (New Market, AL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 22. Sparkman will attempt to better on its 8-17 season record.
