Kansas High School Basketball - Valley Falls can't hold off Jefferson County North

The Jefferson County North Chargers nipped the host Valley Falls Dragons basketball squad by a final score of 51-48 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Chargers face the Troy Trojans (Troy, KS) in a Northeast Kansas outing, on Thursday, January 30. Jefferson County North will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Trojans enter the outing with a 6-1 record after their 82-31 league win over McLouth (McLouth, KS).
