Tennessee High School Basketball - Jefferson County victorious over Morristown-Hamblen East

In Friday's league contest, the host Jefferson County Patriots basketball team scored a good 76-65 triumph over the Morristown-Hamblen East Hurricanes.

The Patriots (14-7) will now prepare for their contest against Carter (Strawberry Plains, TN). The Green Hornets go into the non-league contest with a 13-6 record.

In their next game, the Hurricanes battle the Bearden Bulldogs (Knoxville, TN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Morristown-Hamblen East will attempt to better on its 4-15 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 18-3 record after their 74-57 league win over Farragut (Knoxville, TN).
