In Friday's league contest, the host Kennedy Cougars basketball team scored a good 66-50 triumph over the West Park Panthers.

The Cougars (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Antelope (Antelope, CA). The Titans go into the Metropolitan Conference contest with a 15-6 record. In their last contest, Antelope was topped by Destiny Christian Academy (Sacramento, CA), 76-50, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Cordova Lancers (Rancho Cordova, CA) in a Metropolitan Conference contest, on Friday, January 24. West Park will attempt to better on its 11-10 season record.
