In Friday's league contest, the host King's Fork Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 82-45 triumph over the Lakeland Cavaliers.

The Bulldogs (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Northeastern smashed Currituck County (Barco, NC), 77-45, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 20. Lakeland will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Aces go into the contest with a 7-4 record after their 61-56 league win over Currituck County (Barco, NC).
