Texas High School Basketball - University overwhelms Lake Belton

The University Trojans basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Lake Belton Broncos to 45 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.
The Trojans now possess a 20-6 record. They play next when they travel to Chaparral for a 5A Region II District 16 game on Tuesday, January 21. University will play a Bobcats team coming off a 91-42 league loss to Ellison (Killeen, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 17-10.
With the loss, Lake Belton falls to 14-12 on the campaign. The Broncos host Belton (Belton, TX) to play the Tigers in a 5A Region II District 16 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 22-5. Belton won 67-54 in their recent league game against Waco (Waco, TX)
