The Montour Spartans (McKees Rocks, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Lincoln Park Performing Arts (Midland, PA), 76-49 in Friday's league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mars for a WPIAL 5A 4 bout on Saturday, January 18. Montour will play a Fightin' Planets team coming off a 68-65 league loss to Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA). The Fightin' Planets record now stands at 7-6.
With the loss, Lincoln Park Performing Arts falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The travel to Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA) to play the Quakers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. The Quakers go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Quaker Valley won 91-38 in their recent non-league bout against Eden Christian Academy (Pittsburgh, PA)
