The Lions (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against WACO (Wayland, IA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, WACO edged Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA), 66-39, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians encounter the Notre Dame Nikes (Burlington, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 20. Wapello will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record. The Nikes come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 70-16 league win over New London (New London, IA).
